Job Description:
As a Shop Support / Fleet Mechanic, you will keep our vehicles, heavy equipment, and tools in top condition while supporting daily yard and shop operations. This multi-purpose role combines mechanical work, logistics, and general labour to keep projects moving.

Responsibilities:
- Service, repair, and maintain our fleet of trucks, vans, trailers, and construction equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and minor repairs on vehicles and tools.
- Load and unload materials, equipment, and trailers safely.
- Handle pickups and deliveries across Winnipeg as needed.
- Organize and maintain the shop yard, tool inventory, and storage areas.
- Test and document equipment before it goes to job sites.
- Assist with general labour tasks around the shop and occasional job sites.
- Keep the workspace clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Requirements:
- Mechanic background or previous experience servicing vehicles and equipment (minimum 1-2 years preferred).
- Basic knowledge of diagnostics, maintenance schedules, and repairs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license with a clean abstract (DZ or air brake endorsement is a plus).
- Reliable, safety-minded, and able to multitask in a busy yard.
- Full-time (40 hours/week).
